  • Continued with Class “S” Concrete and Variable Depth pier and abutment repairs
  • Continued identification of bottom side concrete deck deficiencies and repairs
  • Completed demolition of I-95 southbound, Stage 2 concrete parapet, curb and sidewalk
  • Completed demolition of I-95 southbound, Stage 2 concrete sidewalk expansion joints 
  • Completed navigation light service panel repairs
  •  Build I-95 southbound, Stage 2 wooden pylon forms

 

August 2019 Update

July 2019 Update

  • Continued identification of structural steel deficiencies and repairs

  • Continued with partial depth and full depth concrete deck repairs (night)
  • Commenced demolition of I-95 southbound, Stage 2 concrete parapet, curb and sidewalk
  • Completed removal of I-95 southbound, Stage 2 metal bridge rail
  • Completed tree trimming at the Exit 16 in-ramp to I-95 southbound
  • Completed installation of I-95 southbound, Stage 2 temporary illumination
  • Completed installation of erosion control and anti-tracking pad at the Hendricks Avenue commuter parking area

 

June 2019 Update

The following are the June 2019 work activities:

  • Continued localized paint removal
  • Continued identification of structural steel deficiencies and repairs
  • Continued identification of concrete pier and abutment deficiencies
  • Continued with Class “S” Concrete and Variable Depth pier and abutment repairs
  • Continued identification of bottom side concrete deck deficiencies and repairs
  • Completed installation of Stage 2 YDB sidewalk detour on the north side of the bridge and commenced Taxi service
  • Completed installation of Stage 2 temporary barrier on the north side of the bridge
  • Continued identification of concrete deck repairs
  • Continued with partial depth and full depth concrete deck repairs (night)
  • Continued patching of roadway potholes as required (night)

 

May 2019 Update

May 2019 work activities included the following:

  •  MBI 2019 night work commenced on Tuesday May 14th
  •  Refreshed I-95 Southbound painted pavement markings (night)
  •  Continued identification of concrete deck repairs (night)
  •  Commenced with partial depth concrete deck repairs (night)
  •  Commenced installation of strip drains east of the bridge in the I-95 median (night)
